Describe and name the game you just played. What are three things you would improve about this game? How would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
Today I player wii fit, which has you do several different types of exercise. I would change the instructions on ow to do the exercises by making them more detailed. Its hard to tell exactly what you are supposed to do. The character selection was okay, but I don't care that much about the character so it didn't affect my gameplay at all.
I played Just Dance. It was used on the Wii gaming system and worked like a mirror where you had to copy the movements of the dancer on the screen. I would improve the characters and screen images of this game. I found them a little bit cheesy and boring. I would also improve the song choice. They only had about 20 songs and I only recognized 4 of them. The last thing I would improve how the songs already had the difficulty set and I didn't like how the player can only choose the song with a set difficulty, instead of setting the difficulty to your song preference. The characters were very plain. They had no faces yet it was interesting because they were dressed like the artist dresses in the song's music video. It affected my game play somewhat because it got boring, yet it also helped me focus more on the movements instead of just the appearance.
The game that I played today was Gold's Gym, a boxing game. Three things I would improve about it are the graphics, voice work, and realism. The character selection could use a bit of remodeling too, since it was very restricted with the design of the face and hair. The game was easy to trick because the balance board is not used; you can easily beat it by moving the wii remote(s) in the required position without using too much energy.
daisy fuentes palanties. the three things i would change about the game would be that the workouts shouldnt be too long. and the title as well. their too long.the characters are sorta weird and you dont get to pick a character either. it was kinda weird like the girl sorta looked like she was in a feeble position like she looked like she was dead or in a zombie invasion or something and the exercises are sorta rediculous like you would crack your body. they kept changing their clothes too.
well today i played the i fit games which include various games like soccer, skiing, and other balance games which were pretty fun the wii fit is a fun way to get back in shape. but the wii has its bad side too like it can get pretty boring after a while with the same games over and over again. the affects also can make it seem real at times and thats fun to but its hard to get back to reality but its ok :)
i played daisy weintest paites. three tings i would change are the amount of choics available, second the character selectoin, and third the choice avaible to exersize the game was fun, the character creation did affect how well i did.
I played The BIggest Loser and it was a game that helps you to lose weight like a personal trainer. I think that it would be more fun if it was a two player game. I cannot think of anything else to rant about...I really did not know who any of the characters were and I think it would be better if you could design your own character. It was weird to play characters you do not know ( I think they are suppose to be famous).
today i played the wii fit biggest loser game for a little while. if i could improve this game, i would make it so that you could pause it in the midle of the exercises, in case i needed to get something or go to the restrooms or something. i would also make it a little more interactive with the user, so that it will tell you, even when you don't use the balance board, if you are doing it right. I also think that it would be beneficial to have the exercises explained to the user before they are expected to perform them so that they could be sure that they were doing it correctly. oh, and it should NOT involve putting the remote in you pocket. what if you didn't HAVE pockets? or you were wearing tight jeans? or sweats, which like, NEVER have them.
the character selection was fairly poor, as you could only choose from about nine biggest loser contestants from before, and the only thing you could do to customize them was pick what color shirt they wore. also, they all started out overweight, which was true for them, but what if it wasn't for that specific user? it seems a little unrealistic to me. the animation was pretty good though, and they moved well, which helpedme to figure out what i was supposed to do in the game.
I played Gold's Gym Cardio Workout. The player has a personal trainer and learns the basics of boxing in the first lesson (which is all I did). The only thing I would have improved was the other options for the first lessons. I didn't like how it was limited to boxing for the time I did it. Besides that, I really enjoyed playing and can't think of anything else I'd improve. I LOVED the vibrating feedback because it made it more realistic. The player must register themselves and they enter their weight, height, and birth date. I also liked how you customized the appearance of the on screen player to resemble yourself. This affected my game play greatly because it felt more personal and as if you were really part of this "gym"(:
The game i played was daisy fuentes pilates. Daisy's character shows you how to preform several different exercises and helps you through a workout. I would add more exercises to the game to improve it. This game was fun, but has no character selection. You watch daisy, but don't have your own person. This doesn't bother me because the game is fun whether you have a certain character representing you or not.
The game I just played was Biggest Loser. The game itself is a good workout, I don't have much to say about it. I wish there was a character creation part instead of choosing a real person, especially if you've never seen the show before. You mostly play as the instructor, so it really doesn't matter, but it is a good thing to add.
i played wii fit that game had a lot of balence required to get the better score for the game. the game hard nothing that would really change about it. the mii creation could use a little more space for more mii in case more people want to play. other than that the over all game was funa nd a good way to get fun but healthy game.
i just played just dance it was very interesting but very fun and i could say the the only things i didn't like was that there were songs that i wish there could of been more of different songs because there was a lot more 90s and 80s songs but it was still fun:)
the next game i played was wii fit. i think to add more features like more fit games. like ice skating would make it more fun. the characters make it fun because you get to pick your character to make it more exiting.
I played Gold Gym, which was a game where you learn how to punch the right way an practice these skills. Things would change is when your trainer is talking to have a more exciting background then just plain space. Also you can play in different areas then just one area. I liked the fact that you could design your own character, I especially the fact that you can have a cat face!!!!!
The game i played was just dance. To improve this game make the game more able to detect your dance moves. In the game each song had a different character to follow, but you could not customize your own dancer. These characters are cool because the style of the characters fit the style of the songs.
I played The Biggest Loser. I LOVED the game. It had so many exercises to choose from that fit every player's needs. In the game, the player has a personal trainer which helps motivate and keep them focused on the exercises of their choice. One thing I would improve is the trainer's comments since they are super repetitive. Another thing I would improve is the character choice because you HAVE to choose a real show contestant. The rest of the game was super fun though! You have the choice of about 6 contestants from past seasons that has been "cartoonized". I didn't like this because it didn't feel personal to me and it was hard to relate to that character. With that being said, it didn't affect my game playing too much because I tried to really focus on the actual exercises instead of appearance:)
How would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
for the game golds gym and to me the characters and creation looked cool the person that stood next to me said that they looked like anime i don't know really what it is but the affects made you want to push more and it looked so cool
The game I just played was Wii Fit, mostly the running portion. It's an expansive game, unlike the other games I have played today, since it features running, yoga, strength, etc. I think the features I would improve are adding more slots for characters and making the free running more of an exploration based thing instead of putting it on a fixed path. This kept the gameplay fun and enjoyable, but the scenery is a treat so it's a bit of a shame you can't explore it yourself.
i played now just dance. i dont think anything should be changed. exept that when you play you should be able to get songs added on like guitar hero. the characters are so cool. i think that the colors match the songs and it makes it fun.
in the wii fit game that i just played, you were doing pilates with a personal trainer. you could choose where you wanted to train and what exercises you wanted to do, and how many of them you wanted to do. it told you what it would exercise and how many would be good for a beginner and for a more physically advanced person to do. threee things i would change about this game: 1) it would allow you to create/select a character that was LIKE THE USER in height, weight, and physical appearance.
2) i would make it more interactive, with feedback on how you are doing the exercises, if you are doing them correctly or not, and show you what you are doing wrong if you mess up.
3) i would have them give you the tips BEFORE the exercises.
the only character in the gae is your instructor, and she seems to only be there to show you what to do, which makes sense, but i wish that she could do a little more, and make it more interesting because otherwise you might just get bored in the middle and just stop playing so it isn't so effective. i really think they need apersonal, customizable character
the game i played was gold's gym. gold gym is a fun game. i would change the number of faces available for your character. the mentor you can pick at the beginning would have three instead of two. and lastly the game over all is good.
How would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
gold's gym character selection is good but it could use more options when creating you character. the face selection and hair selection could use more variation. like the option of long hair of short then hair styles differ if you pick short of long. and posable what workout clothes your character could wear.
the game i played was the biggest loser. the graphics were okay. it sorta got messed up at times. glitchy. the characters werent much of selection. it was just people from different seasons of the show. i think it should be an avitar pick. the trainer is very pressuring. i think we dont need a voice saying you can do it! its kind creepy to me. like stalkerish like they know me. and it said my name as well. it was like i was real a little bit.
The game i played was gold's gym. This game was really fun and interesting. It is kind of hard to get the game to respond, so this should be fixed. I like that style of the characters. It was sort of like anime. However the characters were very fuzzy and the clothing was not well animated. It didn't move with the characters and blended into things. This didn't make the gameplay bad, but they should improve the detail in the characters.
the game just dance is a fun and active moving game. that character selection is cool and the number of people playing deturmines which player has what color icon. the music selection is good. the only thing i could change is add a level difficulty setting. so the player can pick between from easy to advance. that would give the players better time to get better. the game is self is fun and very active on the arm. so over all i think the game is very interesting.
Describe and name the game you just played. What are three things you would improve about this game? How would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
i just played pilates its a excersize game and i didn't like the characters they showed no reality they make one feel bad about ones self and i didn't like the creation it seemed boring and you don't know how or when certain excersizes to do? what or how long? its confusing and all this affect my game playing by making me so anxious to get off! i think it would also be best if the music was changed it made my whole time wasted
I just played Just Dance. I would add a more expansive song lineup, more than just popular songs like who let the dogs out, like something from a little unknown band that plays some great, energetic music. The character selection was limited; you could only play as the character featured in the song window. I would've added a character selection screen instead. You could feel sort of embarrassed, since you're dancing with a person in a giant dalmation suit.
How would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
that character are more i little icons that you can pick from. the icon i picked didn't really affect how i played but i did make me more energetic to play the game.
I played Wii Fit and loved it! It was extremely accurate which was why I loved it so much. The available activities were pretty fun, but I would have liked it if the running activity had been more of an exploration rather than a running path. I also didn't like the snowboarding because it was TOO sensitive. These were the only two main problems that I found with the Wii Fit that really bothered me:) The characters were your average Miis like in all "Wii Only" games. This wasn't too much of a problem because in exergames, I feel like it is more about the exercise than the general appearance. In games like Guitar Hero, you can change the player's smallest things: the eye width, muscle size, and lip shape to only name a FEW. I found this interesting because in games like Guitar Hero, people play them for pure entertainment and that alone while in exergames it is really focusing on exercising in a fun way. Possibly exergames have plain characters because their purpose is not specifically entertainment.
lastly i played golds gym. i think that they should add more than punching. thats mostly what it is. but its pretty cool. the characters were awesome! i loved how you got to pick your hairstyle and eye color. it was pretty cool. and i was in taikwando so im used to punching. i think it was my favorite game.
The game i played was the biggest loser. It was fun and challenging. The characters were people from the show. I knew them from the show so i liked the idea, but the characters don't relate to the users very much. to change this i would let the user adjust the weight of their character if they want.
I played Just Dance which is a game where you dance with friends for fun. I would change the sensibility of the game because when I did a move and I did it just like the character of the game it would say that I missed that move every now and then. I would have a cam with it because that would help detect the moves instead of depending on just one controller . Also I would have a beginners practice so you know how to move correctly with the controller. I liked the characters because they were all unique and have their own sort of fasion (I know I spelled it wrong) according to the song. Just Dance was the most fun game for me so far (it is more fun with friends) and is a great way to work out without really realising (ahhh it is spelled wrong) it.
I just played Daisy Fuentes Pilates. The things I would improve are the wii remote sensing, the character movements, and the exercises. Half the time, the game didn't think I was pressing a, and when it did it lagged badly. You couldn't alter the character at all which made it pretty boring. Also, the movements of the characters were stiff, which made it very unreal. This made the gameplay feel weird and generally bad.
ow would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
in just dance i love the characters they are so fun and jumpy and colorful and they affect the game play by make something inside that makes you want to dance more
I play Daisy Fuentes' Pilate which is where she is your trainer and you do different Pilate exercises. If I had to change the worst three parts, it would probably be the sounds, activities, and display. I guess this game is specifically for Pilate fans so that's possibly why there was nothing BUT Pilate exercises for activities. The display was pretty cheesy because it never moved and the screen made no sounds. I didn't like how it gave zero feedback. There were no characters besides Daisy Fuentes who was only person on the screen. She was the trainer and I didn't like it because it didn't feel personal or visual so this definitely affected my game play.
I played Wii Fit balance and I thought it was super fun!! I could not really think about any problems about this game except that it puts you face on the objects and it freaks me out (I do not like that part). I like the characters in the game because you can design the characters, but I would like more options.
the game the biggest loser i a fun and more active movement game. that character selection is good. the character selection is very interest for said game. the thing that really stood out to me is the choice of a warm up and a cool of section between games. the only thing i would change is the cool off option. to where that part has more movement in the legs. but over all the character selection and the game it self id pretty fun. what i liked about it is that when you do the movements you can really feel that energy in you muscles. what i like about the character selection is the way that the character can be done. from the character selection that is what really poped out at me.
i was just playing just dance on the wii aand it was SOOOO fun!!! you got to choose the songs to dance to and then it just went i guess. you got a few special moves, ones involving your arms really. there were no characters really, just a figure that looked a little like the artist hat showed you, in more detail, what to do by doing it. it was really, really fun. if i could change it, i would make it so that you could upload new songs onto it, maybe a special disc or a USB device that you could just plug into the machine to upload the songs and have the graphics already programmed in to tit. also, i would make it so that it would make it clearer if you missed a move. and, lastly, that they would include sensors for your feet so that there could be a whole new set of moves. other than that, it was really awesome.
i played wii fit before and i still think the characters are perfect for this game (Biggest loser) because the characters are reality its way better then a game i played pilates biggest losers characters are cool because you get to see them get smaller and smaller until the finale and this affects the wanting to finish the game it gives you the affect of i have to finish this! there isn't a thing i would change about this game or the characters.
i just played the game called wii fit . in it there is a multitude of fun, healthy game. there were lots of characters to choose from, and it was nice that you could choose/customize the characters i played the games where you ran, you could hula hoop, ski jumping, slalom, snow boarding, and all kinds of fun stuff. if there really were three things that neede changing, i would make it so that there were sensors that went with the board so that it would sense where your arms were in hula hooping. another would be that there weren't so many shoes thrown at me in soccer heading, and that for the tightrope walker, that he didn't have things on there to knock him off in the first five levels.
the characters were very nice, and they weren't like actual people, they just looked like cartoons, so it didn't make you upset if it didn't look much like you. i really liked it. oh, but they should have this clear plastic sensor screen to go over your tv so that you could just point to that instead of having to point it at a small bar of a sensor on top of your tv.
i just played the golds gym game on the wii, and it was really cool. you got to learn how to do punches and it gave you lots of feedback. you could create your own character and do stuff with it. it was really cool. it doesn't really need changing, but if it did, i would make it so that you could easily pause and leave the game at any time.
I played Daisy F. Pilates which is a game where you practise pilates (everything is misspelled). I thought is would be a good game if you like pilates I have no idea about pilats so I can not think of anything to say bad about. You could not chose a character so that is kind of a bummer
this is continued from my golds gym post... and i would make it so that the characters were a little more realistic, or that at least the hands and feet were better in comparison to the body. also, that the stuff they said sounded like somebody actually SAID it, not like it was just a bunch of independent words strung together.

ReplyDeletelastly i played golds gym. i think that they should add more than punching. thats mostly what it is. but its pretty cool. the characters were awesome! i loved how you got to pick your hairstyle and eye color. it was pretty cool. and i was in taikwando so im used to punching. i think it was my favorite game.
ReplyDeleteThe game i played was the biggest loser. It was fun and challenging. The characters were people from the show. I knew them from the show so i liked the idea, but the characters don't relate to the users very much. to change this i would let the user adjust the weight of their character if they want.

ReplyDeleteI played Just Dance which is a game where you dance with friends for fun.
ReplyDeleteI just played Daisy Fuentes Pilates.
ReplyDeleteow would you describe the character selection/creation in this game? How did this affect your gameplay?
ReplyDeletein just dance i love the characters they are so fun and jumpy and colorful and they affect the game play by make something inside that makes you want to dance more
Exergamer6's post at 11:07 is about Daisy Fuentes pilates not Wii Fit
ReplyDeleteI play Daisy Fuentes' Pilate which is where she is your trainer and you do different Pilate exercises.
ReplyDeleteI played Wii Fit balance and I thought it was super fun!! I could not really think about any problems about this game except that it puts you face on the objects and it freaks me out (I do not like that part). I like the characters in the game because you can design the characters, but I would like more options.
ReplyDeletethe game the biggest loser i a fun and more active movement game. that character selection is good. the character selection is very interest for said game. the thing that really stood out to me is the choice of a warm up and a cool of section between games. the only thing i would change is the cool off option. to where that part has more movement in the legs. but over all the character selection and the game it self id pretty fun. what i liked about it is that when you do the movements you can really feel that energy in you muscles. what i like about the character selection is the way that the character can be done. from the character selection that is what really poped out at me.
ReplyDeletei was just playing just dance on the wii aand it was SOOOO fun!!! you got to choose the songs to dance to and then it just went i guess. you got a few special moves, ones involving your arms really. there were no characters really, just a figure that looked a little like the artist hat showed you, in more detail, what to do by doing it. it was really, really fun. if i could change it, i would make it so that you could upload new songs onto it, maybe a special disc or a USB device that you could just plug into the machine to upload the songs and have the graphics already programmed in to tit. also, i would make it so that it would make it clearer if you missed a move. and, lastly, that they would include sensors for your feet so that there could be a whole new set of moves.
ReplyDeleteother than that, it was really awesome.
i played wii fit before and i still think the characters are perfect for this game (Biggest loser) because the characters are reality its way better then a game i played pilates biggest losers characters are cool because you get to see them get smaller and smaller until the finale and this affects the wanting to finish the game it gives you the affect of i have to finish this! there isn't a thing i would change about this game or the characters.
ReplyDeletei just played the game called wii fit . in it there is a multitude of fun, healthy game. there were lots of characters to choose from, and it was nice that you could choose/customize the characters i played the games where you ran, you could hula hoop, ski jumping, slalom, snow boarding, and all kinds of fun stuff. if there really were three things that neede changing, i would make it so that there were sensors that went with the board so that it would sense where your arms were in hula hooping.
ReplyDeleteanother would be that there weren't so many shoes thrown at me in soccer heading, and that for the tightrope walker, that he didn't have things on there to knock him off in the first five levels.
the characters were very nice, and they weren't like actual people, they just looked like cartoons, so it didn't make you upset if it didn't look much like you. i really liked it. oh, but they should have this clear plastic sensor screen to go over your tv so that you could just point to that instead of having to point it at a small bar of a sensor on top of your tv.
i just played the golds gym game on the wii, and it was really cool. you got to learn how to do punches and it gave you lots of feedback. you could create your own character and do stuff with it. it was really cool. it doesn't really need changing, but if it did, i would make it so that you could easily pause and leave the game at any time.
ReplyDeleteI played Daisy F. Pilates which is a game where you practise pilates (everything is misspelled). I thought is would be a good game if you like pilates I have no idea about pilats so I can not think of anything to say bad about. You could not chose a character so that is kind of a bummer
ReplyDeletethis is continued from my golds gym post...
ReplyDeleteand i would make it so that the characters were a little more realistic, or that at least the hands and feet were better in comparison to the body. also, that the stuff they said sounded like somebody actually SAID it, not like it was just a bunch of independent words strung together.
this is continued from my blog above with daisy fuentes...I think that they should make the pilates more of a game then just like a pilates workout.
